| Both sexes wear the parka, a frock-like garment
reaching to the knees. The pattern is similar for both men and
women, excepting that there is an open seam on each side of
the bottom hem of the women's parka. Parkas are made of bird-skins
or animal skins. The waterproof parka for use in rainy weather,
in choppy seas when in kiaks, or while hunting, is made of seal-intestine.
